rumagi – Secondhand Mountain Wear

Rumagi was founded by two sisters with a shared love for the mountains and a mission to keep high-quality outdoor gear in circulation. Growing up in Truckee, California, we saw firsthand how quickly ski gear was replaced each season—leaving behind a surplus of barely worn jackets, ski suits, puffers, and boots. Instead of letting these pieces go to waste, we created rumagi, a secondhand mountain wear company dedicated to giving outdoor apparel a second life.

We operate on a pop-up model, bringing our curated collection of vintage and pre-loved ski & western wear directly to mountain towns and outdoor communities. Selling in person allows us to connect with customers, ensure the best fit, and share the stories behind each piece. Sustainability and circular fashion are at the core of everything we do, and we believe that shopping secondhand should be just as exciting and personalized as buying new.

While one of us (Sam) runs social media and outreach, the other sister, (me - Alex) is constantly sourcing the best secondhand finds. Together, we’re building a community that values quality, adventure, and sustainability—and we hope to pop up in every mountain town soon!
